Keynote Speakers


Carla Simone is Full Professor of Computer Science at the University of Milano-Bicocca. Her research have been carried on in several research projects at the European and Italian level.  Her research interests show the combination of theoretical and empirical investigations with the application of their results to the design of technological supports of human activities. Her research concerns the design of adaptable computer based supports of cooperative work and knowledge sharing within application domains such as Design, Healthcare, Cultural Heritage and Networked Communities.

Hilda Tellioglu is associate professor at the Institute of Design and Assessment of Technology of Vienna University of Technology and Dean of Studies of Business Informatics. She was the principal investigator of several (inter)national research projects. Her research focus covers (among others): modeling and knowledge management in manufacturing, software design and development, healthcare, tangible interaction design; design thinking; CSCW; gender and diversity in computer science.  

Margunn Aanestad is Professor at the Department of Informatics, University of Oslo, Norway. Her research interests include the transformations of healthcare brought about by new technologies, such as telemedicine, digitalization of clinical information systems, the introduction of image-guided and minimal-invasive surgical techniques and personalized medicine. The current recent research project investigates the introduction of patient-oriented tools and services.
